Emerald of California/ Diamond Nuts

To build brand recognition for Diamond Nuts in the
nut snack market, CHARGE id implemented a
design makeover, recognizing that packaging can
play an important role in enhancing awareness.

CHARGE id introduced a rigid container with a
secure re-close feature for better contents
protection and portion control functionality.
Additionally, CHARGE id worked holistically to
provide strategic and operations specifications
necessary to move from a bag filling based
operations to a fully integrated form-fill-seal
production line on rigid containers with size
variations.

The final result: introduction of the Emerald Brand
during the 2004 Super Bowl, leading the way on a
category which is saturated with stock containers
and commodity packaging.
